On March 24, 1942 the Williams family experienced the tragic lost of their first born son Darius Williams. Uncle Darius was born December 7, 1907 and he passed away on March 23, 1942 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania from Pulmonary Tuberculosis. He is buried in Clanton, Alabama, Alice Kennebrew signed the certificate of death as the informant.

Uncle Darious and Aunt Ora Dee had 3 children. Aunt Eva, Uncle Darius Jr and Zepherrel. Zepherrel died at one year old on March 15, 1932.



In 1930 Uncle Darius, Ora Dee and Eva lived at 1426 Our Way in Pittsburgh, Pa. the rent was $20 per month.

In 1940 Darius and Ora Dee stayed at 3401 Charlotte Way in Pittsburgh, Pa. the rent was $12 a month.

During this time all men aged 21 to 45 were required to register for the draft. This is Darious draft registration card.
