As most of you know Uncle John is my paternal uncle and my maternal cousin. His mother Lizette and my grandmother Anna Bell are sisters. This is a picture of their father Jesse Dunigan and his children.
Uncle John was my grand mothers favorite nephew. He actually lived with her when he first relocated to Detroit. Paying it forward, several family members stayed with John and Alice when they first came to Detroit.
Uncle was known for always having a video camera at family gatherings. He had a video of Frank Martin shooting a rabbit at the Charlie Delia wildlife preserve. We contacted his wife to try and get copies of his tapes, but she said someone had already picked them up and she didn’t remember who..
But, she was able to give us a photo album of people she didn’t know. Included in this album was Papa Charlie, Moma Delia, Joseph, Charles, Wiley, Eva, Annie Laura, Vyonne, Izora and her husband, and others we could not identify.

I know you are right. Most of them I don’t know either. Maybe someday someone may find another picture with a name to tie some things together.
Hi Toni, I did get in touch with your 2nd great uncle. He knew your grand mother because she used to go to Pittsburgh and visit her mother. He is 92 and once ran for mayor of Pittsburgh in 2003.
