Reunion Update

“Hey Cousins!

Just wanted to touch base with everyone about our upcoming reunion plans.

We’ve found a 26-bedroom cabin that’s perfect for our gathering, but we need to act fast! The total cost for 3 days is $27,980, and we need to pay a 40% deposit of ($12,000) which is non-refundable to secure the reservation.

Here’s the breakdown:
– Average room cost: $1,050 for 3 days (includes 1 king bed and private bathroom)
– 2 of the rooms have 3 queen bunk beds and 3 bathrooms: $2,000

We don’t have the deposit funds yet, so we’ll open an account to start collecting deposits from everyone. Please pay yout deposit by January 30, 2026. The balance is due by July 15, 2026.

If we can’t secure the 26-bedroom cabin, we’ll look into smaller options. One of the advantages of the 26 Bedroom cabin is that it has a theater which is large enough for us all to meet. If that does not work out we will need to rent a banquet room. The Embassy Suites has a room that will accomodate us that cost $900 per day.

After we book the cabin we seek a block of rooms at Embassy Suites ($335/night) for those who prefer that option. We will provide the code to use when booking there.

– Meet and greet Saturday noon, introducing each family present.

– Family history game. How well do you know your ancestors?
– Dinner banquet Saturday night ($900 room cost + food and drinks). We will determine the individual cost of this after we select a venue and caterer.
