Today is May 1st, Dad Joe’s birthday. He would have been 96 today. Dad Joe had 5 daughters plus a bonus daughter.
We got Day Joe name from Moma Delia. She told us to call my father Daddy Joe and my mother Moma Helen. So when I became a teenager, my mother instructed us to call her Mother. Daddy Joe just naturally got shortened to Day Joe.
So who else in our family has five daughters?

That would be Uncle Robert. His sons are Robert Chester, William Loyd, Marshall (Pop), Sherman, and Greg.
Also, Aunt Ada. Her sons are Wiley (Jerome), Oscar, Tony, Samuel, and Gregory.

Reunion reminder
This is a reminder for those of you who haven’t made your $100 deposit for our large cabin rental to do so as soon as possible. We started collecting last Thursday. We have $800 so far. The bank will give us $300 if we deposit $2000 by May 19th.
Again, this is $100 per room. Rooms sleep 1 to 4 people. We need a pretty firm number of occupants to get an exact number for the cabin cost.
